What is your role at Murphy Tower Service?

As the Marketing Manager for Murphy Tower Service, I am responsible for building brand recognition and aiding business development and sales efforts (CRM management, market research, digital campaigns, social media, presence at industry events, etc.).

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?

I have learned that imposter syndrome, especially for women, is very real and you must challenge your negative thoughts and celebrate your accomplishments each day. It is important to be kind to yourself in addition to others.

Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?

Iceland. My mom and I take annual mother-daughter trips and Iceland was by far our favorite adventure. Stunning scenery and ultra-friendly people.

What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

I enjoy yoga, running, spending time with my niece and nephews (#FunAunt), attending/watching sporting events, traveling, and golfing.

What is the weirdest job you've ever had?

As a young kid, I shucked corn in the summer…IYKYK. Midwest living! 😊

What would be your personal motto?

Wake up each day and strive to be the best version of myself.

What is the favorite part about working at Murphy Tower Service?

I love working for a family-owned business. Knowing the owners and their values creates a deeper sense of commitment to the company and its success, which makes the work much more enjoyable and rewarding.

How do you define success?

I am a very goal-driven individual so each year I set personal, professional, and financial goals so it is easy for me to determine if I have achieved “success” in certain areas of my life each year. Outside of that, I think success is all about living a fulfilling life – whatever that may look like for you.

What is the one thing, you can't live without?

My Bernedoodle, Sammy!

If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

Jackie Robinson
